How We Work With Event Organisers To Increase Footfall

Have you noticed how many events are being held around the country these days? The catalyst may well have been the post-Covid “Let’s Live For The Moment” effect, but it feels like the events industry has exploded into a frenzy of festivals, concerts, shows, fairs, markets, and sports events around the U.K. It’s fantastic for audiences and participants, but tough for the organisers who need to compete in an increasingly busy marketplace. So, what can we do to help you increase footfall for your event?

We work with organisers for all types of festivals and events, designing and printing collateral to promote them, to hold them, and to create a visitor experience that encourages people to return again and again, year after year.

Signage around the festival site helps visitors find their way

The first area of support typically consists of designing and printing promotional posters, leaflets, flyers, and banners to push awareness, gain public interest, and direct people to the event’s websites so they can book tickets (QR Codes can be embedded in these to make the transition from “interested” to “buy” more rapid).

With multiple stage events directional signage is essential

That’s closely followed by designing and printing tickets, wristbands, and lanyards for event and festivalgoers, alongside ID Cards for security staff, organising teams, vendors, and VIPs, along with site guides, and programmes.

Wristbands are useful for visitors, security staff, and organising teams

And as the event gets closer, we move to signage for directing visitors to the event, car parking signs, onsite signage to help them find their way around, Health & Safety notices for the site, banners to promote the next event being held, and anything else event organisers need in printed form, including entrance gates, information posts, and exhibition-type stands.

The best visitor experience to your festival

The ultimate aim of the work we do for organisers is to create the very best “visitor experience” for people attending events. If we can help you to achieve that, you can bet your visitors will be chomping at the bit to book next year’s event as soon as possible…and they’ll spread the word for you too.

Banners are a traditional feature at County and Country Shows

If you already have a provider for any of the items mentioned above, please call us for a chat anyway. Many organisers have moved to us because of our competitive pricing – a second opinion only costs you time but could save you a significant amount of money!

  • Lisa Mortimore, Commercial Director at IQ Digital House comments: “Combining traditional printed advertising with social media posts is the ideal way to promote events and festivals these days. Social media advertising is used by many event organisers but can be limiting because it flits through peoples’ feeds so quickly, whereas printed advertising is on display 24/7. And there’s no substitute for having wristbands, physical tickets, and programmes, not least because so many eventgoers hold onto them as souvenirs (they’re also a useful reminder to book ahead for next year’s event).”
